Great Eccleston Gardening Club

Great Eccleston Gardening Club

Great Eccleston Gardening Club is a group of like-minded people who enjoy the simple pleasures of gardening and growing plants.

The club was formed in 1993 and how has over 40 members.

Our aim is to provide our members with information about gardening and access to it in all its aspects.

Meetings are generally held on the third Wednesday of each month at the W.I. Hall in Gt. Eccleston at 7.30 p.m.

Our meetings largely feature talks and demonstrations by gardening experts but have ocasionally included wider interest talks such as ‘Wine Making from Garden Produce’ and ‘Honeybees in the Garden’.

At many meetings we have a stall selling plants which are donated by members.

The club offers trips and has a programme of events throughout the year. New members are always very welcome to come along.
