Normoss and Staining Gala

Normoss and Staining Gala

Normoss and Staining Gala is a long running village tradition whose history can be traced back nearly a century.

26 July 2014
Parade leaves Road End at 11am
Fancy dress judged at 10.30am

It’s run by a committee of volunteers who work all year round raising funds and organising village events.

The pinnacle of our year is our annual Gala parade and crowning of our new Queen and Princess, along with the investiture of our new Prince Charming and Britannia.

We put on other major events in the year including the Annual Halloween party, as well as Torchlight procession and Christmas Fayre.

We also organise other fund raising events throughout the year such as Psychic nights and Meat bingo nights. Look out for these events advertised around the village.

Can you help?

YES!!!!!!! We will always welcome new members to the committee.

We are always looking for volunteers to help in any way, at any of our events and with fund raising. Selling magazines, raffle tickets etc.

Any offer of help is always welcome.

We are always looking to source a lorry or trailer to be used as one of our principles floats. Please contact us if you can help with this

ROAD MARSHALLS

CAN YOU HELP MARSHALL THE ROAD JUNCTIONS FOR OUR GALA DAY PARADE OR TORCHLIGHT PROCESSION??

Due to new legislation these parades can not take place without adequate road marshalling.

If you can spare the time to help with this please contact Emma Dawson or any member of the committee. Your help is desperately needed!!
