It’s a small but well appointed town centre with a local weekly market on Mondays in the market square. And there’s plenty of car parking too.

There’s a number of large and small events throughout the year – both in the town centre and around and about. St Chad’s Church in the centre of the town is often the focus of local events – like Poulton Christmas Festival and Poulton Gala.

Elsewhere in the town are events held at Jean Stansfield Park, and at Vicarage Park Community Centre.

Poulton is in a great spot for a base if you’re enjoying a holiday on the Fylde Coast. It’s close to the bright lights of Blackpool, family friendly Cleveleys and historic Fleetwood.

Enjoy a short journey through beautiful fields and countryside to nearby Lytham and St Annes. Or travel the other way and the whole of rural Over Wyre is yours to explore, with Morecambe Bay beyond.
