Carleton Community Music

Carleton Community Music is the home of Carleton Community Chorus and Carleton Community Band

Carleton Community Music

The Choir was set up in October 2010, and the Band used to be based at Stannah School but moved to Carleton in September 2010.

If you are musically minded and think that you might like to join in, you’ll be very welcome.

All you need to do is just turn up to one of the practice nights and you’ll receive a warm welcome and have a great time. The choir is open to all adults in the local and wider community.

Some of our members are talented singers and musicians, though you don’t have to be able to read music to join. Some members had never sung outside the shower until they joined the choir! The one thing that unites the group more than anything else is a love of music.

Carleton Community Music has an eclectic repertoire, singing a real variety of material, including classical, pop and show songs.
