Poulton People’s Choir is a community choir, open to anyone with an interest in singing.
No musical knowledge is required to join the choir. There are no auditions. All you need is a passion to want to sing, learn new music, develop new skills and make new friends.
Rehearsals take place on Wednesday nights at Poulton Methodist Church between 7.30 – 9pm, and continue in the pub after the rehearsal.

More about Poulton People’s Choir
Poulton People’s Choir began in October 2011. Tony Brindle-Wills is the man behind the Choir, who, with a group of fellow musicians decided to start it and see what happened.
Obviously, to join a choir you’ll need a basic interest in performing and ideally be able to hold a note. But the whole point of Poulton People’s Choir is to get people together, enjoying a love of music. Share the energy and excitement with others, and at the same time make friends and develop a new hobby that unites a group of people. There’s so much that you can get out of joining a group like this!
The group has performed all over the Fylde Coast. At Christmas Festivals, Poulton Gala, and many other community events.
You don’t have to live in Poulton to join, you are welcome no matter where you live. There are no age restrictions, although from a safety point of view children should be accompanied. The Choir is free to join.
If you sing in the shower, belt out classics in the car, or perform while hoovering, this is your chance to shine! Just turn up at the rehearsals, or get in touch with the details above.
